Supplier Terms and Conditions
Delivery Policy
Orders are typically processed and delivered within 1 to 5 business days after payment confirmation. If your order has not arrived within this timeframe, please reach out to us for an update.
Delivery times depend on the type of product ordered. Orders placed before 12:00 PM will be subject to the following estimated delivery schedules:
Hygienic Wall Cladding: 1–3 business days
White Roof-line Products: 1–3 business days
Wood-Grain Roof-line Products: 1–10 business days
Polycarbonate: 1–3 business days
For other products, please contact us before placing an order if delivery timing is crucial. Additional delivery terms and conditions are detailed in Section 5.
In cases where the selected shipping charge is insufficient, we reserve the right to withhold dispatch until the correct shipping payment is made or alternative arrangements are agreed upon.
When accepting a delivery, inspect the package before signing the delivery receipt. If any damage is visible, mark the package as “DAMAGED” on the delivery note. Failure to do so may void eligibility for claims, replacements, or refunds. Signing “Unchecked” does not cover potential damages.
Important Considerations: We advise against scheduling tradespeople until all items are received in full to avoid additional costs in the event of delays or issues with the order.
These terms apply to Building Plastics Online Ltd (“the Company”), with its principal place of business at 1 Water Vole Way, Doncaster DN4 5JP. The Company supplies UPVC building materials, associated construction products, and roofing systems. All supplied products are referred to as “the goods.”
Cut-to-Size Products:
Polycarbonate cutting tolerance: ±5mm
Acrylic/Solid Polycarbonate cutting tolerance:
Under 15mm thickness: ±5mm
15mm or more: 10% tolerance
1. Product Descriptions and Liability
a) Unless specified as meeting an industry standard, all product descriptions, specifications, drawings, weights, and dimensions are approximate.
b) Any advice or recommendations given by the Company’s staff or agents regarding the goods are non-binding unless provided in writing by an authorized representative in response to a formal request from the purchaser.
c) The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that all provided specifications and measurements are correct.
2. Payment Terms
a) Unless stated otherwise, payments must be made within 30 days from the end of the month in which delivery occurs.
b) Timely payment is essential.
c) If the purchaser delays providing necessary instructions, documents, or authorizations, they will be liable for any resulting storage costs or other expenses.
3. Orders and Acceptance
a) Quotes provided do not constitute an obligation to supply. Orders are accepted under these terms.
b) Orders are subject to these terms, overriding any conflicting purchaser terms.
c) Changes to these terms require written approval from an authorized officer of the Company.
4. Ownership and Risk
a) Ownership remains with the Company until full payment is received.
b) If goods become inseparable from other items, they are held in trust for the Company as security for payment.
c) If the purchaser resells goods before full payment, the Company retains a claim over the proceeds.
d) The Company reserves the right to reclaim unpaid goods, including entry to premises if necessary.
5. Delivery Conditions
a) Stated delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
b) Delivery is deemed completed upon:
Collection by the purchaser
Transfer to the purchaser’s carrier
Delivery to the designated location
c) Claims for non-delivery or damage must be submitted within specified timeframes:
Non-delivery: within 5 days
Damaged or missing items: within 3 days
d) The Company may deliver in separate installments, with each treated as an individual contract.
e) If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful due to purchaser unavailability or access issues, a redelivery charge may apply.
6. Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice, with the prevailing price at the time of delivery being applied. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
7. Warranty and Liability
a) The Company guarantees its manufactured goods against defects arising before delivery, provided defects are reported within 15 working days.
b) A 12-month warranty applies, covering repair or replacement at the Company’s discretion, excluding damages due to improper installation, wear and tear, or misuse.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
a) The purchaser is liable for any intellectual property infringements resulting from custom orders.
b) The Company is not responsible for infringement claims resulting from purchaser usage of goods.
9. Assignment
Orders cannot be transferred to another party without prior written consent from the Company.
10. Governing Law
All contracts are governed by English law, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Refund & Returns Policy
Defective or incorrect items may be refunded or replaced within 30 days at the Company’s discretion. Returns must be in original condition and packaging. Custom-made items, such as cut-to-size products, are non-refundable unless faulty.
If an order is signed as received in good condition but later found to be damaged, no claims can be processed. Customers must either refuse damaged goods or sign “Goods Received Damaged” on the delivery note.
Returns of non-faulty items must be arranged by the purchaser at their own expense. In some cases, the Company may assist with return shipping at cost.
